Language Arts - Students have read The Watson's Go To Birmingham - 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis. Most students have enjoyed this book. After the Thanksgiving holiday the students will begin researching a decade of history. This will be a group project with each person responsible for a certain part. (ie. sports, music, inventions, etc.)
Math - We have been learning about median, upper and lower quartiles, upper and lower extremes. The students have made posters to show what they know about these terms. Ask your student to draw a picture to show you what they know.
Science - Right now science is all about rocks and minerals. If you want to refresh your memory you might want to check out this great website: http://www.teachers.ash.org.au/jmresources/rocks/links.html
Social Studies - The students have been studying about the constitution.

Great work on this site but when are you going to update?? It's a nice place to go when you can't always talk to your child and they can't remember everything.
